If you’re looking for practical content on SEO, digital marketing, and AI search optimization, 4seoguide is for you. We accept original contributions on these topics, and we want to see your work in front of others who are learning them. The following is what we publish, what we’re looking for, what you get, and how to pitch. Read it before you send anything!
What We Cover
We publish practical content across four main areas:
Search Engine Optimization
We accept useful, experience-based content covering:
- On-page SEO
- Technical SEO
- Off-page SEO
- Keyword research
- Link building and backlink strategy
- Local SEO
- Google Business Profile optimization
- Content optimization
Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and AI Search
We cover the growing role of AI in search and content discovery, including:
- Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)
- AI search optimization
- Optimizing content for AI search tools

Digital Marketing
Relevant topics include:

SEO and Marketing Tools
We also consider honest, experience-based:
- SEO tool reviews
- Marketing software reviews
- Tool comparisons
- Workflow and implementation guides
- Practical tool tutorials
We do not publish general business advice, lifestyle content, or articles unrelated to SEO, search, digital marketing, or closely related technology.
What You Get
Each Guest Post has a naturally placed dofollow link to your website. The link needs to be relevant to the rest of the text and value for the reader. We don’t accept paid link placements, or links to sites that have nothing to do with SEO or digital marketing.
At the end of the article, you may include a short author bio with a one-line description and a link to your website or social media profile.
What we don’t provide: payment, sponsored post packages, or a guaranteed publication date. Each submission is considered individually, and pitches that don’t match our publication criteria may be rejected.
What We Are Looking For
Content that adds something new
The internet has enough articles that restate what everyone already knows about SEO. What we publish takes a specific angle, shares first-hand experience, or covers a topic in a way that’s genuinely more useful than what already ranks. Before pitching, search the topic you have in mind and ask honestly whether your article would beat the top three results. If the answer is no, sharpen the angle before you submit.
Practical and specific
Vague advice doesn’t help readers. The best guest posts on 4seoguide include real examples, specific steps, data points, or original insights from direct experience. Generic content written to fill a word count gets declined on the first read.
Written for humans
We can tell when content was written primarily for search engines, or generated by AI without meaningful editing. We don’t publish it. Write the way you’d explain something to a knowledgeable colleague, not the way a keyword brief instructs you to.
Submission Guidelines

Topics We Have Already Covered
Do research to see if we’ve written anything about your topic before pitching. No duplicate content – if the pitch overlaps with another very similar guide, it is rejected. Visit 4seoguide to check out what’s already published. If your topic is similar to one covered in previous publications, alter the approach. A duplicate can become a publication if it is presented on a specific subtopic, an alternate audience point of view, or using new 2026 data.
Topics We Accept and Decline
| We Accept | We Decline |
| On-page, technical, off-page SEO guides | General business or entrepreneurship content |
| GEO and AI search optimization | Cryptocurrency, finance, or investment topics |
| Link building and backlink strategy | Lifestyle, health, or unrelated niches |
| Keyword research and content strategy | Spun, AI-generated, or plagiarised content |
| Local SEO and Google Business Profile | Articles already published elsewhere |
| Tool reviews and comparisons | Paid promotional articles disguised as guides |
| Digital marketing analytics and tracking | Topics with no connection to search or marketing |
How to Submit Your Pitch
Send your pitch via email to 4seoguide@gmail.com. Please include:
- Your proposed article title and a two- to three-sentence summary of what it covers
- Why this topic would be useful to someone learning SEO or digital marketing right now
- Two or three links to articles you’ve written previously, published on any site
- A one-line description of yourself and your background
Don’t send a full draft without pitching first. We review pitches before requesting full articles so you’re not wasting time on something that doesn’t fit our editorial direction.
If we like the pitch, we’ll come back with feedback or ask for the full article. If we pass, we’ll tell you, though we can’t always explain why in detail.
After Submission
Once you submit the full article, review usually takes 7 to 10 business days. We may ask for edits before it goes live. We’ll fix small things, clarity, structure, style, without checking with you first. If an edit would change your argument or meaning, we’ll talk to you about it before publishing.
We can’t promise a publish date. Articles go out on our editorial calendar, and that calendar shifts. We’ll let you know when yours is live.
A Note on Link Quality
The dofollow backlink in your article has to be relevant to the content around it. A link to an SEO tool inside an article about on-page SEO makes sense. A link to an unrelated page, inserted to game search rankings, doesn’t, and we’ll remove it before publication.
We also decline pitches from sites with a spam score above 5%, or from sites outside SEO, marketing, or tech. That’s true no matter how good the content is.
Ready to pitch? Send your pitch via email to 4seoguide@gmail.com, including the details mentioned above.
